When I write a story, what do you immediately look for?

AND

Give me a character name (and an universe*, if relevant) and I'll write you a drabble** about how they lost their virginity***.

*Which can be a canon universe, an AU I've written, or something you made up on the spot**** but think I might actually have something to say about.

**It might be less of a drabble and more of a random answer. It'll depend on the character.

***For many possible values of 'virginity,' depending on the character, situation, or my whim.

****Example: Peggy Carter, Starfleet AU.

Random Things

My sunflowers are three metres tall. I just measured them. I am very happy with my flower garden this year. It's all poppies of all colours and sunflowers and calendulas. I was trying to grow nasturtiums too, but for some reason they're not doing well (bafflingly, the ones that Nenya planted are doing better than the ones I planted, though we put the same seeds in the same soil in the same way on the same day).

There is a three point buck hanging out here a lot. Thus I can be seen running about the lawn in my nightie on many an early morning.

Circle knows all: Is there a polite way to call a B&B in the South and ask if they're okay with lesbians, or should I just do it straight out? Do I need to ask at all?

valtyr has written 40k of Steve/Tony Roman AU. It's good. All you all should read it.

I'm trying to get my head around DCU continuity. I'm not sure why I'm doing this, as it's all about to be reset anyway. I read Infinite Crisis the other day. The only thing I'm taking away from that is the quote on my icon. So, so, so confusing. Next I plan to embark upon the mysteries of 52.

I was reading a really excellent Blue Beetle/Booster Gold fic where Ted is stuck in a time loop ala Groundhog Day, and it occurred to me that I really want fic set on the last day of a loop plus a few days after, from the PoV of the person not in the loop. I then roughly plotted out an angsty Steve/Tony fic where Tony was looped and Steve just wants to know what's going on.

Oh, and I made two icons for a post garrideb made, but they're totally shareable.
