Woo, Faiza fic! Thanks for the link! Faiza is most definitely a Good Muslim, but I think that as more comics appear about her and her family, that's getting more complex, as it should. She wields a whopping great sword - hardly a symbol of peace. Her dad is a vampire now. She does get angry (and flirty, and nerdy, and tough). But there's only one of her right now, and there needs to be hundreds represented, so it's not all on one person, not all trending to just two opposite categories.
