On a more serious note, I'm unfond of the dude running Marvel: She Has No Head! – Dear Marvel: Please Stop Ruining Everything

So apparently we're not getting a Black Widow movie? Or a Captain Marvel one, for that matter. But Ant-Man is a go! I thought the point of our evil Disney Overlords was that they'd cut down on this shit.

Quesada has absolutely zip to do with what movies they make.

I was hoping that was true. Clearly he shouldn't be allowed to make those decisions.

One would think he would know what the movies are though, and if he's saying that it doesn't seem like there are Marvel women in the near future at least.

Or he doesn't know what he's talking about or that interview happened before Avengers came out.

I'm largely in favour of him not knowing what he's talking about. I think that's true when he talks about comics, anyway. The interview was at Kapow! though. This year.

Well, again, less than a month after Avengers came out, a quote from a guy who does not work for the movie studio division of Marvel -- I don't think that his word means much as to what movies the studio, which he does not work for, may decide to plan in the future.

I was just coming over to say Quesada has nothing to do with the movies. He is well-known for saying stupid and random things that are flat-out wrong (and he's recently got a sideways promotion taking him away from the creative stuff, thank god). He's also the guy who thought female readers were stupid for not wanting to read Marvel Divas which he put out especially for them!
