Goodness.

I broke down and read the first few pages of Master & Commander. I like it so far.

You have it at home, right?

I think this will have to be the "reading at home while doing other things and wanting a book in my hands" book, since Miles in his handy-dandy phone-sized book has taken over the "reading on lunch break" slot. At least until I have to return M&Ct/decide whether to check it out again.

Are those Jack and Stephen bears?

Oh, thanks. I keep vaguely thinking the library will email me about that book, but no, it's on your account.

Miles in Love is underway; at this rate I shall be out of Bujold far too soon. Though there is Ethan of Athos to go reread now that I know who Quinn is.

And fic to write. And things.

Books! I'm reading the eagle of the ninth now, on and off and waiting for the silver branch and frontier wolf to be checked back in. It's amazing, all the things I manage to get done when work isn't trying to explode my head and during television's stuck in the doldrums

I hope you're all healed up, and that your traveling went well, however long ago that was. (May?) Wheeee, time.

*Oh*, FMA volume 4.

I bought Eagle of the Ninth after I saw the movie but I haven't read it yet.

Wheeeee, you have so much Sutcliff! :D And other cool books!

I was going to say that I had heard good things about Arranged, but then I remembered that the one I was thinking of was a film. I thought they might be related, but upon googling, it has a decidedly different plot than your book. But I hope it is still a good book!
