  • Topics here are a mixed bag, but can include:

    • Daily life of a lighthouse keeper stuff.

    • Lighthouse politics.

    • Thoughts, reviews, recs and rants relating to whatever fandom I'm in at the time (Currently Marvel and DC Superheroes).

    • Fan fiction, icons, music mixes and other fanworks.

    • Social justice issues, usually fandom related.

    • Other stuff.

  • I don't talk about meatspace politics a lot, but bear in mind when I do, that I'm seeing them through the following filters:

    • I'm an out lesbian.

    • I support socialistic democracy.

    • I am a Christian (United Church of Canada).

    • I'm Canadian, and have many issues with my country, but still like living here a lot.

  • I grew up and currently live on an isolated lighthouse, so many pop culture comments go right over my head.

  • I talk about writing far more than I actually write. I take forever to finish WIPs, but I do finish them.

  • I will squee excessively over a number of topics at the slightest provocation. These topics are subject to frequent change.

  • My taste in entertainment can be warped and frequently inexplicable. I adore the oddest things; keep that in mind when I rec something.

Technical Details

  • Everything but my fannish pursuits is limited access.

  • I use a combination of locking and filtering. If you can read something, you have a standing invite to comment. However, I expect that you will never discuss it outside of that lock or filter.

  • I put a master list of my fic here.

  • Reviews warm my heart. Flames warm my hearth. Concrit is welcome.

  • I make icons sometimes (tag here or the uncredited ones on my icon page). They are all entirely shareable. Credit is lovely.
