Something in our system is haemorrhaging bandwidth, and since we have a fixed amount a day which cuts us off for a day if we run over it, we may not be online much until we figure out what the fuck is going on.

I'm gong to pull the plug before my last 76MB vanish for no reason.

Are you on Windows 10? If so, check your update settings. Your PC can wind up configured to do things like act as an update server for any other PCs nearby.

My parents are apparently having a similar problem at the moment, with the ISP having diagnosed something using up a large chunk of bandwidth, leaving not much left for actually browsing the Internet. Thankfully, they have unlimited internet, so at least they don't have to worry about that.
