This cover is almost, like, aggressively difficult to interpret.

It probably minorly helps to know that the river in the picture is the Peace River, and the area around it is known as The Peace.

It makes me think of a Daniel Pinkwater book, zaniness-wise. Which is probably the influence of the giant chicken.
